To members of Hidden Lake Association:
At the last Annual meeting in May 2023 the topic of Home rule came up as an alternative to how our organization is structured and governed. Being that alot of our members are unfamiliar with those terms, I suggested that we form an ah hoc committee to gather factual information on this concept with the goal to present this to all of our members so that an informed discussion and decision making can take place among the membership.
I envision a temporary committee of 5-6 members who can help gather information and also real life examples of this type of governance in CT. This work would be done in the fall with a target date of presenting to the HLA in the spring.
